ZLINE stoves,
specifically.

ZLINE Kitchen and Bath sells stoves in its Paramount and Marino series, as gas, dual-fuel and induction models from 24 to 48 inches, including double-oven versions. The induction stoves print a table of F and E codes, while the gas manuals describe flames and igniters, so the letters at the front of your model number decide which pages we open.

The ZLINE lineup

What is particular
to ZLINE.

Paramount stoves come in gas, dual-fuel and induction versions, the induction ones starting at 24 inches; Marino stoves come in gas and dual-fuel, up to 48-inch models with two ovens. ZLINE writes one manual per fuel covering several model prefixes, so the prefix on your label decides which code table applies.

A burner that relights itself

Every surface burner on ZLINE's gas stoves has automatic re-ignition: if a draft blows a flame out while gas is still flowing, the igniter sparks until it catches. A short burst of clicking in the middle of cooking is that system doing its job.

Every igniter sparks, one burner lights

Turn one knob on most ZLINE gas stoves and you will hear every igniter snap, yet gas reaches only the burner you chose. The PCGR36, PMGR36 and PSGR36 work differently: only the selected burner sparks.

Clicking that points to the outlet

ZLINE names two reasons igniters keep sparking after the flame is lit: wet or dirty igniters, or an outlet wired with reversed polarity. If a dry, clean stove keeps clicking, the wiring behind it is the next thing to check.

F is inside, E is often outside

ZLINE's induction stoves split their codes by letter. F codes name parts inside, such as the power board, a coil sensor or the power transistor, while several E codes describe conditions such as heat buildup or voltage that is too high or too low. That split decides whether you let it cool, phone an electrician or book us.

Parts

ZLINE matches parts to the model prefix shown in each product name, such as SINR, SGR or MDR. ZLINE does not post lead times, so availability is checked when we order.

Repair or replace

A ZLINE gas stove's usual problems, an igniter, a spark module or a burner, are single-part repairs. On the induction models, a board or transistor code is worth repairing when the glass and oven are sound.

Questions about
ZLINE stoves.

Why do all my ZLINE igniters spark when I only want one burner?
That is how the ignition works on most ZLINE gas stoves: every igniter sparks, but gas reaches only the burner you turned on. Three models, the PCGR36, PMGR36 and PSGR36, spark at the chosen burner alone.
My ZLINE flame burns yellow. Is that a problem?
ZLINE accepts an occasional yellow or orange flicker, and notes that candles, cleaning sprays or dust in the air can color the flame. A flame that stays yellow can also mean a propane conversion was not done right, so book a visit; if you smell gas, leave and call the gas utility from outside.
My ZLINE stove keeps clicking after the burner lights. What causes that?
ZLINE lists wet or dirty igniters first, so let the top dry and clean around the igniters. If the clicking continues, the outlet may be wired with reversed polarity, which an electrician or a visit can confirm.
My ZLINE induction stove shows E/4. Is it broken?
E/4 means the voltage reaching the stove is too low for safe use, which usually starts outside the appliance. Hold off on induction cooking until the power is steady and get an electrician to measure it; if E/4 still shows on a healthy supply, book a visit.
