What is particular
to Monogram.

Monogram sells professional all-gas, dual-fuel and induction stoves. We ask which fuel you have and whether it was ever converted to propane.

A knob that tells you preheat is done

The oven knob on Monogram's professional stoves lights up: it flashes while the oven preheats and turns solid when it is ready. A flashing knob is progress, not a warning.

Gas burners still need electricity

Monogram's manual lists an unplugged or loose power cord among the reasons the burners will not light, because the igniters run on power. After a move or a kitchen project, check the plug first.

Propane needs the right setup

Monogram says very large or yellow flames on a propane stove point at the air-to-gas ratio, and sends you to whoever installed or converted the stove. That matters for homes that switched from natural gas.

Double ovens clean one at a time

On double-oven Monogram models, only one oven can self-clean at a time, and the other oven cannot be used during the clean.

Parts

Monogram's professional parts, especially burners, knobs and control assemblies, are model-specific and sometimes need to be ordered. We confirm the model number before the visit.

Repair or replace

Monogram stoves are built to be repaired, and a cabinet, burners and oven in good condition justify replacing almost any part.

Questions about
Monogram stoves.

Why won't my Monogram burners light after we moved the stove?
Monogram lists a power cord not fully plugged in as one cause, because the igniters need electricity. Check the plug before anything else.
My Monogram flames are big and yellow. Is that dangerous?
Monogram links that to the wrong air-to-gas ratio on propane and sends you to the installer or whoever converted the stove. If you smell gas, leave and call the gas utility from outside.
Why won't the second oven on my Monogram work while the first is cleaning?
Monogram does not allow another oven function while one oven is self-cleaning.
Why does the oven knob on my Monogram flash?
It is preheating. The knob turns solid when the oven reaches temperature.
