The Sofia Pro comes with gas ovens on the all-gas models and electric self-clean ovens on the dual-fuel and induction models, and some 48-inch versions have two ovens. On a two-oven stove, the model number tells whether an F code refers to the right or left cavity.

A knob left halfway sets off a code

An oven knob that rests between OFF and SELF-CLEAN for 30 seconds or more makes the control show F15 for the right or upper oven and F16 for the left or lower one. Set every oven knob to OFF and flip the breaker off and on again; Fulgor puts that ahead of any repair.

A lamp just for the cooling fan

The all-gas Sofia Pro stoves have a signal lamp marked Fan failure that lights only when the cooling-fan system has a problem. Fulgor's instruction for it is simply to get a technician in.

A glow wire lights the griddle

The gas griddle has no spark igniter: an electric glow wire beside the burner heats up until the gas catches. A griddle that stays dark while the burners light normally points to that wire or its circuit.

Flames that come back on their own

The Sofia Pro gas top relights any burner whose flame goes out, sparking until it catches again. Clicking that starts during cooking is usually that feature answering a draft or a boil-over.

My Fulgor Milano stove shows F15. What did I do?
Almost always, an oven knob was resting between OFF and SELF-CLEAN, or between PRESET and SELF-CLEAN, for at least 30 seconds. Put every oven knob on OFF and kill the power at the breaker for a few seconds; if F15 returns with the knobs off, book a visit.
Why won't the griddle on my Fulgor Milano light when the burners do?
The griddle burner is lit by an electric glow wire rather than a spark, so it has its own ignition part. If the griddle stays unlit while the other burners work, turn it off and book a visit; if you smell gas, leave and call the gas utility from outside.
The oven door on my Fulgor Milano stays locked after it cooled. What should I try?
Fulgor suggests killing the power at the breaker for a few seconds and then restoring it, after which the oven should reset and work. A door that stays shut, or an F03 or F04 on the display, means booking a visit.
What does the Fan failure lamp on my Fulgor Milano gas stove mean?
Fulgor lights this lamp only for a problem in the cooling-fan system, and its advice is to get a technician. Keep oven cooking short and moderate until then, and book a visit.
