The Pro lineup covers 36- and 48-inch gas and dual-fuel stoves, some with sous vide, induction, a griddle or a steam-combi oven, and a 36-inch induction stove with five elements; the 30-inch gas slide-in has its own manual and code table. The label's model number tells us which manual and code table apply.
The number tells you which section
On an SKS Pro stove the oven display uses F1 to F25, the induction knob LED F33 to F45, the griddle F51 to F59 and the sous vide knob F62. Knowing the band lets a technician pick the right board to test before opening anything.
Low simmer that switches itself off and on
The small burners' S1 to S3 settings hold a very low heat by turning the flame off and back on at set intervals, with longer gaps toward S1. The igniters relight the burner each time, so a flame that vanishes and clicks back is doing what it should.
An oven code while the burners work
SKS's 30-inch gas slide-in can show F9 or F19 on the oven even though the burners on top light fine, and SKS names a closed gas pressure regulator valve as one cause. That valve is part of the installation and is checked by a technician; it does not mean the oven itself is broken.
Loc is a setting, not a breakdown
Loc on the gas slide-in shows that Lock Out is switched on. The oven door locks and most oven and burner controls refuse to start, although the timer and the oven light carry on working. To undo it, put the mode knob at Off and keep Probe pressed for three seconds.
Parts
SKS covers several Pro models with one owner's manual, yet the boards and modules inside change with the configuration, so we confirm the exact model and serial before ordering. SKS does not publish lead times.
Repair or replace
A Pro stove built around separate modules is repaired one section at a time: an oven board, an induction control, a griddle control or the sous vide unit. Replacement is rarely worth it while the body and oven cavity are sound.
