Electrolux stoves,
specifically.
Electrolux sells freestanding gas, dual fuel and induction stoves in 30- and 36-inch widths, with knob controls for both the stovetop and the oven. Its manuals put real weight on what happens around power: outages, cold storage and restarts.

to Electrolux.
This page draws on the use and care manuals for Electrolux's current freestanding induction stove (914779590) and dual fuel stove (914779602), and on Electrolux's code guide for its earlier electric models. Current models report problems as Err with a number.
Turn the oven off in an outage
Electrolux asks owners to switch the oven off whenever the power fails, because the oven may start heating again by itself when power returns. Food left inside could burn or spoil if nobody is home.
Warm it up before first use
Electrolux warns that its electronic controls can be damaged by cold. A stove delivered from a cold truck or stored in a winter garage should sit above 32 degrees F for at least 3 hours before it is powered.
A knob lock on induction
The induction models have a Control Lock set by turning and holding two stovetop knobs, and it locks only the stovetop knobs, not the oven. A top that refuses to heat may simply be locked.
Flashing heat symbol after cooking
Electrolux's induction zones flash a residual-heat symbol after you turn them off, and it disappears only once the glass drops below a safe temperature. It is a warning, not a problem.
Parts
Because Electrolux's manuals ask you to record an Err code rather than decode it, the exact number guides which part is ordered. No Electrolux page was found that states how quickly its stove parts ship.
Repair or replace
A lock left on, a stove that was too cold at startup or demo mode needs no part. On a current Electrolux, a single igniter, sensor or board repair usually beats replacement.
