Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from LG's own guidance for F33 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the zone off and let the glass cool.

02

Flip the stove's breaker off, count 30 seconds, then flip it on.

03

Use the rear zones meanwhile, and book a visit if F33 or F34 returns.

What not to do

F33 does not mean LG dislikes your pan. The part at issue sits under the glass, where it measures the zone's heat.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems F33 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

Questions
about F33.

Can I clear F33 myself?
Turn the zone off and let the glass cool. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I use the back zones on my LG induction stove with F33?
Often yes, since F33 names a front zone. If the whole top shuts down, wait for the repair.
Did I cause F34 on my LG by using a heavy pan?
A heavy pan does not usually harm the sensor. Dropping something on the glass or a spill boiling under it can, so mention it at the visit.
Why does F33 show on my LG only after a few minutes of cooking?
The sensor may read fine cold and drift as it warms. The pattern helps the technician confirm the part.

Still showing F33?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
