What F10
actually means.
F10 is the upper oven's door locking system and F20 the lower oven's. The lock motor moves at the start and end of self-clean, so the code most often shows then, and the door may stay locked or refuse to lock.

The latch that holds the oven door shut during self-clean did not move where the stove told it to, or its switch reported the wrong position. It turns up most often during or right after a self-clean cycle, or once the door has been lifted off for cleaning.
