What F17
actually means.
LG lists F17 as a convection fan error and F7 as the upper oven convection fan error. Convection cooking needs that fan, so the oven may cook unevenly or refuse the mode.

The oven part of the stove was set to bake or broil and did not warm the way the controls expected, or took far too long to get there. On an electric stove a bake or broil element that has burned through is the everyday reason; on a gas stove the oven igniter and the valve it opens are looked at first. The wiring and the relay on the board are checked before the board itself is blamed.

Check that nothing in the oven, such as foil or a pan, touches the fan cover at the back wall.
When the same code shows again, give the stove 30 seconds with its breaker off.
