Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Samsung's own guidance for C-21 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press OFF/CLEAR and leave the oven door closed while it cools on its own.

02

Check that nothing is covering the vent and that no foil lines the oven floor or racks.

03

Once the oven is cool, switch the breaker off for at least 30 seconds and back on.

04

Should C-21 reappear the next time you bake, retire the oven for now and book a visit.

What not to do

C-21 is not a report of a broken sensor wire. On Samsung stoves the sensor itself is C-20, while C-21 means the reading was real and too high.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems C-21 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

Questions
about C-21.

Can I clear C-21 myself?
Press OFF/CLEAR and leave the oven door closed while it cools on its own. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Is C-21 on my Samsung stove dangerous?
It means the oven went past its safe temperature and the control stepped in. Let it cool with the door shut, and if you see smoke from the oven or wiring, switch the breaker off and keep people away.
What makes a Samsung oven overheat and show C-21?
A blocked vent, foil on the oven floor or a relay that keeps the element or burner on can all push the heat up. A repeat of the code after the vent and foil are clear points to the controls.
Why did C-21 appear on my Samsung stove during self-clean?
Self-clean runs far hotter than baking, so a marginal part shows up there first. If the code returns during a normal bake too, the oven needs checking before it is used again.

Still showing C-21?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
