Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from AGA's own guidance for 060-100 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Write down the number shown on the handset.

02

Mention any recent work on the cooker, since a plug that was disturbed can cause this.

03

Book a visit; each wire pair on the plug is tested and the plug is checked for a firm fit.

Still there?

It usually turns into stove oven heating repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

An open-circuit code does not always mean a new probe is needed. AGA's own first check is whether the plug is pushed fully home, which costs nothing but a panel removal.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems 060-100 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

Questions
about 060-100.

Can I clear 060-100 myself?
Write down the number shown on the handset. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
My AGA showed an open-circuit code after the panel was serviced. Could the plug be loose?
It could. AGA's first step for this group is to check that the thermocouples are plugged fully into the user panel. Book a visit and mention the earlier work.
Will switching my AGA eR7 off and on clear a code in the 060 to 100 group?
Do not count on it. If the error has repeated enough times, the zone locks, and AGA says a power cycle does not clear a locked zone.
Why does AGA list so many numbers for one kind of sensor problem?
The number tells the technician which sensor lost its signal. That is why noting the exact number saves time on the visit.

Still showing 060-100?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
