Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Dacor's own guidance for C-20 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the knob to Off and restart the oven.

02

If C-20 stays, cut every bit of power to the stove for 30 seconds or longer before switching it back on.

03

Book a visit if it returns; the sensor needs testing.

What not to do

A problem with the plug-in food probe shows as C-23 instead. C-20 is about the sensor fixed inside the oven.

What you may

Questions
about C-20.

Can I clear C-20 myself?
Turn the knob to Off and restart the oven. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I still use my Dacor oven with C-20?
Not reliably, since the oven cannot measure its own heat. Use the burners and hold off on baking until the sensor is tested.
Does C-20 on a Dacor stove mean a new sensor?
Often, but a loose plug behind the oven gives the same reading. The technician measures the sensor first.
Why did my Dacor stove show C-20 after self-clean?
Self-clean heat can finish off a weak sensor or connection. Mention the timing when you book.

Back to your everyday

Still showing C-20?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
