Questions
about F4.

Can I clear F4 myself?
Turn the oven off, press Cancel/Off and let it cool for an hour, as the Profile manual advises for any F code. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I keep using the induction burners on my Profile with F4 showing?
Usually yes. F4 is an oven sensor code, and GE allows short burner use with the breaker on.
Why did F4 show on my Profile during steam clean?
The sensor is read in every oven mode, including cleaning. A sensor that has started to fail can show up during any cycle.
Does F4 on a Profile mean the oven will overheat?
The control stops heating when it cannot trust the sensor, which is why the code appears. Leave the oven off until it is checked.

Still showing F4?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
