01

Turn the zone off and move the pan to a cool spot.

Questions
about E2.

Can I clear E2 myself?
Turn the zone off and move the pan to a cool spot. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Why did my Wolf induction stove show E2 when I was searing?
Long high-heat searing with a thin or warped pan can push the coil past its limit. Let it cool and use a heavier, flat pan.
Can E2 on a Wolf induction stove damage the glass?
The stovetop shuts the zone down to prevent that. Repeated E2 with ordinary cooking is a reason to have the coil sensor and cooling checked.
E2 shows on only one zone of my Wolf induction stove. Why?
Each zone has its own coil and temperature reading. One zone flagging E2 while others run fine points at that zone's coil or its sensor.
