The oven part of the stove was set to bake or broil and did not warm the way the controls expected, or took far too long to get there. On an electric stove a bake or broil element that has burned through is the everyday reason; on a gas stove the oven igniter and the valve it opens are looked at first. The wiring and the relay on the board are checked before the board itself is blamed.

Turn the oven off and keep the door closed while it cools; if you see smoke or flame inside, keep it shut and call 911.
When it is cool, switch the stove's breaker off for 30 seconds and back on.
Do not keep using the oven if Err 02 returns; book a visit so the heating control can be tested.
