What to do when 09 shows on the stoveKind of codeTemperature sensor
The thin probe on the back wall of the oven sent the stove a reading it would not trust, or one that kept climbing past the setting. A loose plug behind the stove or a probe knocked against the racks is ruled out before the sensor or the board is replaced. If the oven keeps getting hotter with the controls turned off, switch the stove off at its breaker first.

Pull the probe out of its socket and push it back in firmly until it seats.
If the code stays, remove the probe, switch the breaker off for 30 seconds and back on, and bake without it.
If Err 09 shows even with the probe unplugged, book a visit for the socket and wiring.
