Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from Whirlpool's own guidance for PUSH on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Press Start.

02

If the setting was canceled, choose it again and press Start right after.

03

If PUSH shows even after pressing Start, the Start pad may not be registering; reset power and book a visit if it continues.

Cleared?

The stove is working again and no part was needed. If the same letters come back while a burner or the oven is on, or the stove switches itself off again in the middle of dinner, book it as a new problem.

What not to do

PUSH is not an error in the oven. It is a reminder to finish the setting.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems PUSH tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

Something the stove was switched into, often by accident, rather than something that broke: a control lock pressed while wiping the panel, a Sabbath setting, a showroom demo mode that lights the display and heats nothing, a reminder that a spot on the stovetop is still hot. No part is worn out, and the stove's own keys put it right.

In Whirlpool's own words

If Start is not pressed within 5 seconds, “PUSH” or “PSH” appears in the display.

Questions
about PUSH.

Can I clear PUSH myself?
Press Start.
Why is my Whirlpool oven cold with PUSH on the display?
The oven never started. Press Start and it will begin to heat.
I pressed Start and my Whirlpool still says PSH. Why?
The Start pad may not be registering. Try again firmly; if it still fails, the keypad needs a check.
How long does my Whirlpool wait before canceling?
About one minute after the last pad press, according to Whirlpool.

Still showing PUSH?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
