Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from ILVE's own guidance for E9 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Leave the zone that showed E9 switched off.

02

Cook on the other zones or the oven only if they work normally.

03

Book a visit; the coil sensor is replaced from beneath the glass top.

Still there?

It usually turns into stove oven heating repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

E9 does not mean your pan is unsuitable or the glass is cracked. It is a sensor on the coil under the glass, which is a part-level repair.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems E9 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E9.

Can I clear E9 myself?
Leave the zone that showed E9 switched off. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Can I keep cooking on my ILVE Majestic zone that shows E9?
It is better not to. E9 means that coil's sensor is damaged, so the control cannot judge its heat; use another zone and book a visit.
Is E9 on my ILVE the same as the U letter?
No. U is about the pan, while E9 is a damaged sensor on the induction coil itself, which ILVE says is replaced.
Does fixing E9 on an ILVE Majestic mean replacing the glass top?
Not normally. The sensor sits under the glass on the coil, and ILVE's notes show it replaced as a separate part.

Back to your everyday

Still showing E9?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
