Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from ILVE's own guidance for E5 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the whole induction top off.

02

Note whether the code was E5 or E6 and which zones were on.

03

Book a visit; the power card is replaced once the code is confirmed.

Still there?

It usually turns into control board and display repair. Book with the code and the model number.

What not to do

E5 and E6 do not point at a single zone's coil or at the pan. They concern the power card that serves the coils, which is why several zones can be affected at once.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems E5 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E5.

Can I clear E5 myself?
Turn the whole induction top off. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
Do E5 and E6 mean different things on an ILVE Majestic?
ILVE's notes list the same cause for both, a defective power card. Note which one you saw anyway, since it can help confirm the diagnosis.
Why did several ILVE zones stop at once with E5?
The power card feeds the coils, so when it fails more than one zone can drop out. That is different from a single zone's sensor code.
Can my ILVE oven still be used with E6 on the induction top?
The code concerns the induction power card. If the oven heats normally you may use it, but book a visit for the top.

Back to your everyday

Still showing E5?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
