Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from La Cornue's own guidance for E2 on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Turn the zone off and wait until the whole top has cooled.

02

Look for a pan that boiled dry, and make sure nothing is packed against the stove's sides or base.

03

If E2 shows up again while you cook normally with liquid in the pan, book a visit so the airflow around the installation can be checked.

What not to do

E2 is not a sign that a coil or the glass has failed. It is the electronics protecting themselves from heat, which often traces back to airflow or a dry pan.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems E2 tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

Questions
about E2.

Can I clear E2 myself?
Turn the zone off and wait until the whole top has cooled. If it comes back, it needs a visit.
My CornuFé shows E2 after a long simmer. Did the pan boil dry?
That is one of the two causes La Cornue names. Take the pan off, let the top cool completely and try again with liquid in the pan.
Why does my La Cornue induction top show E2 every summer?
La Cornue ties E2 to the installation and the ventilation around the stove. A warm kitchen combined with tight cabinetry can push the electronics over their limit, so book a visit to check the airflow.
Can I use my CornuFé oven while E2 is on the induction top?
E2 refers to the induction electronics, and the CornuFé's ovens are electric convection ovens. Let the top cool first, and book a visit if E2 keeps returning.

Still showing E2?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
