Book a visit

Three short steps, about a minute.

or call (844) 415-7620

Before you book,
in this order.

Each step comes from JennAir's own guidance for ES on its stoves. Follow it to the end: the last card says whether this is a visit.

01

Touch a key or open the oven door, and the display comes back.

02

Hold CLOCK down for 10 seconds to switch the feature off; the display confirms with ES and Off.

03

If the display stays blank after a key press, check the breaker and book a visit.

Cleared?

The stove is working again and no part was needed. If the same letters come back while a burner or the oven is on, or the stove switches itself off again in the middle of dinner, book it as a new problem.

What not to do

ES is not a failure, and E5 is how it can look on the display. A blank screen after ES is the stove saving power, not a dead control.

What you may
notice with it.

The stove problems ES tends to arrive with. Answer these at the stove before anyone is booked.

All problems

No repair indicated

Nothing to repair.

Something the stove was switched into, often by accident, rather than something that broke: a control lock pressed while wiping the panel, a Sabbath setting, a showroom demo mode that lights the display and heats nothing, a reminder that a spot on the stovetop is still hot. No part is worn out, and the stove's own keys put it right.

Questions
about ES.

Can I clear ES myself?
Touch a key or open the oven door, and the display comes back.
Why does my JennAir stove clock disappear?
Energy Save blanks the display after five idle minutes. It comes back as soon as you press a key or open the oven door.
Is E5 on my JennAir stove a problem?
JennAir lists ES and E5 on the same page for Energy Save mode. Nothing needs repair.
How do I stop my JennAir stove display from going blank?
Hold the CLOCK key for 10 seconds with the stove idle; the display shows ES and Off, and Energy Save is off.

Still showing ES?

Book with the code written exactly as the stove shows it, the full model number, and whether you notice any smell of gas or hot wiring — when there is a code, that is where the diagnosis starts.
