What ER01
actually means.
ER01 on a Hestan Smart Burner means the pan's temperature did not rise as expected. The pan is usually off-center or was lifted off the burner.

What to do when ER01 shows on the stoveKind of codeIgnition and burners
The stove asked a gas burner or the oven to light and never saw a flame, or it kept sparking once the flame was already burning. A burner cap sitting off-center and an igniter still wet from cleaning are ruled out before the spark switch, the spark module or a valve is replaced. A smell of gas outranks every code on the display: get everyone out, and call the gas utility once you are outside.
Usually leads toIgniter and spark switch repair
Gas stove burners that tick without lighting, keep ticking after they light or tick with every knob off, traced to the electrode, the spark switch or the spark module.
Shows up asStove Burner Not Working
One burner stays cold or will not light while the others work, or it heats only part of the time and a pot on it never comes to a boil.
