This form is all it takes to book a stove visit. There is no card to enter, and you owe nothing until a technician has looked at the stove and told you what it needs. ## What the form asks, and why. What you type here reaches the technician before the visit, which makes it more likely the right igniter, coil burner or knob is already in the van. Sending it does not tie you to anything; the stove is priced only once it has been diagnosed. (844) 415-7620 ### Step one Which stove, and what it is doing Gas, electric, induction or a heritage stove like an AGA, the make, and whether the trouble is on the stovetop or in the oven part. That tells us who comes out and which parts go in the van. ### Step two The date and the arrival window Choose a day and a window that let you get on with your week instead of staying home from morning to night. ### Step three Getting in to the stove The address and a number to call on the day. Say whether the stove runs on natural gas, propane or electricity, whether you rent or own, and add any gate code, parking tip or pet to know about. ## After you book, the visit. [What repairs cost](https://stoverepair.center/cost/) 01 ### The stove, tried the way you use it The technician turns every knob, lights or heats each burner, runs the oven up to a set temperature and reads any code on the display, all before calling out the part that failed. 02 ### A number before the work You hear what the stove needs and what it will cost before a single part is fitted. If putting money into this stove makes less sense than a new one, you hear that too. 03 ### Common stove parts already on board Igniters, spark switches, coil burners, sockets, bake elements and knobs travel in the van. A glass top, a control board or a part only one model uses is ordered by number, so sharing that number at booking can save a second trip. 04 ### Put back, then cooked on With the new part in, each burner is lit or heated again and the oven is brought up to temperature while the technician watches the flame, the glow and the knobs, so the repair is proved in front of you. ## Before the technician arrives. Three things that make the first visit the only one. [What a code means](https://stoverepair.center/error-codes/) ### Give the knobs a rest Turning a dead burner on and off, or relighting one that keeps clicking, wears out the spark parts and can wipe a stored code. If there is a gas smell, smoke, sparks or a burner that will not shut off, leave the stove off entirely until the visit. ### Copy any code If the display shows letters or numbers, write them down in the order they appear. Another make can use the very same code for something else. ### Clear the stovetop and the drawer Once everything has cooled, take the pots and pans off, empty the oven, and pull out whatever is in the storage drawer so the back of the stove can be reached. No. The form never asks for a card and there is no deposit. You hear what the repair is and what it costs after the diagnosis, and nothing is done until you agree to it. ### Where is the model number on my stove? Slide the storage drawer out and look along the frame behind it, or open the oven door and check the rim of the opening. A few stoves keep the plate under the lifted stovetop or on the back panel. If it will not turn up, book anyway and the technician will read it on the day. ### Can I just call instead of filling in the form? Yes. The phone number and our hours are at the top of every page. A request sent through the form lands with the same people, even at times when the phones are busy. ### What if my stove is too old or too worn to fix? The technician says so at the diagnosis and tells you why, before any repair is priced.
