Let the oven cool fully before you try the door; do not pull on it while it is locked and hot. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why did my Wolf stove show ERR 01 halfway into self-clean? The lock motor was asked to move and the control never saw the switch confirm it. A breaker reset once the oven is cool often clears it; a repeat points to the lock motor, its switches or their wiring. ### Can I bake on my Wolf stove while ERR 01 is showing? Clear it first with the breaker reset. If the code returns, the control may refuse oven modes until the lock is sorted, although the gas burners can still be lit. ### Is ERR 01 on a Wolf dual-fuel stove a problem with the door hinges? Not directly. It is about the lock motor and the switches that report its position. A door that sits crooked can make the lock miss its switch, so we check the door fit during the same visit. --- **[Read on the site: Wolf stove showing ERR 01 at the start or end of self-clean](https://stoverepair.center/error-codes/wolf-01/)** **[Book a visit with StoveRepair.center](https://stoverepair.center/schedule/)**
