Miele shows F32 when the Self Clean door lock fails to close. The cycle cannot run with the door unlocked, so it does not start. Miele stove display What to do when F32 shows on the stove ### Kind of code Door lock The latch that holds the oven door shut during self-clean did not move where the stove told it to, or its switch reported the wrong position. It turns up most often during or right after a self-clean cycle, or once the door has been lifted off for cleaning. The latch, its switches, the hinges and how squarely the door closes are checked before the lock motor is changed. ### Usually leads to Stove door and hinge repair Oven doors on a stove that will not close, drop open, sit crooked or leak heat, fixed at the hinges, the door seal, the glass or the door lock. ### Shows up as Stove Door Won't Close The oven door on the stove hangs open a crack, closes crooked, springs back open, or will not stay shut and lets heat pour out while you bake. ### Make Miele A German family-owned company whose stoves pair gas burners with detailed electronic oven controls. ### Source Miele operating instructions, 30-inch dual fuel range For F32, the source is this: Printed in the frequently asked questions of Miele's operating instructions for the 30-inch dual fuel stove (HR 1924-3 G DF family) and the 30-inch induction stove (HR 1622-3 I family). ## Before you book, in this order. Switch the oven off, then on again. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I bake on my Miele with F32 showing? F32 concerns the Self Clean lock, so baking often still works. Book a visit before the next Self Clean. ### Why does my Miele show F32 every time I start Self Clean? The lock motor or its switch cannot confirm the door is locked. A repeat means the lock needs service. ### Could the door gasket stop the Miele lock and cause F32? A door that does not close fully can keep the lock from engaging. Look for a rack edge, foil or towel keeping it from shutting. --- **[Read on the site: Miele stove shows F32 at the start of Self Clean](https://stoverepair.center/error-codes/miele-f32/)** **[Book a visit with StoveRepair.center](https://stoverepair.center/schedule/)**
