In Miele's Demo mode you can move through the display and sensor buttons, but the oven does not heat. It is a showroom setting found under the Showroom Program menu. Miele stove display What to do when Demo Mode shows on the stove ### Kind of code Mode, not a failure Something the stove was switched into, often by accident, rather than something that broke: a control lock pressed while wiping the panel, a Sabbath setting, a showroom demo mode that lights the display and heats nothing, a reminder that a spot on the stovetop is still hot. No part is worn out, and the stove's own keys put it right. ### Usually leads to No repair Open Settings on the display. ### Shows up as Oven on My Stove Won't Heat Up The burners on top work, but the oven underneath stays cold, heats only a little, or never reaches the temperature you set. ### Make Miele A German family-owned company whose stoves pair gas burners with detailed electronic oven controls. ### Source Miele operating instructions, 30-inch dual fuel range Demo Mode is listed here: Printed in the frequently asked questions of Miele's operating instructions for the 30-inch dual fuel stove (HR 1924-3 G DF family). ## Before you book, in this order. Open Settings on the display. ### My Miele oven lights and fans run but it never gets hot. Why? Demo mode may be on. Go into Settings, then Showroom Program, then Demo Mode, and pick Off. ### Could my new Miele have come from the showroom in Demo mode? Yes, that is a common reason. Switching it off takes a minute. ### Does Demo mode affect the burners on my Miele? Miele's note concerns the oven heating. If the top also seems dead, book a visit. --- **[Read on the site: Miele stove shows menus but the oven never heats](https://stoverepair.center/error-codes/miele-demo-mode/)** **[Book a visit with StoveRepair.center](https://stoverepair.center/schedule/)**
