Unplug the meat probe and press CLEAR/OFF. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Can I keep baking on my LG without the meat probe after F8? Usually yes. Unplug the probe and bake by time and temperature until the probe or jack is checked. ### My LG meat probe went through self-clean and now shows F18. Is it ruined? Self-clean heat can damage a probe that was left inside. Try the oven without it; a new probe may be all that is needed. ### Why does F8 show on my LG with nothing plugged in? Moisture or grease in the jack can look like a probe to the control.
