The lock motor moves at the start and end of self-clean, so the code most often shows then, and the door may stay locked or refuse to lock. It turns up most often during or right after a self-clean cycle, or once the door has been lifted off for cleaning. Press CLEAR/OFF and let the oven cool completely. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### My LG oven is locked with F10 after self-clean. How long should I wait? Give it time to cool fully, since the lock will not release while the oven is hot. If it stays locked after cooling and a breaker reset, book a visit. ### Which door has the problem when my LG shows F20? F20 is the lower oven's lock on LG double-oven stoves. The upper door is F10. ### Can I skip self-clean to avoid F10 on my LG? You can clean by hand in the meantime, but the lock may also affect normal cooking.
