It turns up most often during or right after a self-clean cycle, or once the door has been lifted off for cleaning. Close the oven door firmly and check that nothing is caught in it. If it comes back, it needs a visit. ### Why does my Kenmore oven light stay on with E2? The door switch also tells the light when the door is closed. If it is not read, the light may stay on. ### Can a door that does not close fully cause E2? It can.
