KitchenAid covers standard freestanding and slide-in stoves with touch controls, and commercial-style gas stoves with knobs. The two use different signals, so we ask which one you have. ### Amber means error, white means a step was missed On KitchenAid commercial-style stoves, amber lights with a tone are an error signal. White blinking lights usually mean Start was pressed too soon, which is fixed at the knobs. ### The app reads the code for you If a commercial-style stove is registered in the KitchenAid app, the error shows under Settings, Service and Support, Appliance Error. Having that code ready saves time on the visit. ### A lock that also locks the door The KitchenAid control lock shuts down the pads and locks the oven door.
